The Managing Director reports to the European General Manager and is responsible for driving the UK customer acquisition, delivery and revenue targets.  The successful candidate will own the management of all new business sales & project delivery within the region.  This position will have a significant impact on the success of the EMEA region and will have extensive interaction with the EMEA senior leadership team.
 
YOU'LL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO
  • Add significant value to Appnovation’s EMEA expansion plans.
  • Ensure all UK revenue and profitability goals are achieved
  • Enhance the existing systems and build new systems to support the region’s sales and delivery organisations while maintaining the Appnovation brand and voice as the company continues to achieve its revenue targets
  • Drive the development and execution of the regional business-operating model to achieve employee retention, sales revenue and delivery margin targets
  • Manage overall sales and delivery process, setting appropriate metrics for sales funnel management and project delivery
 
This role is responsible for building, mentoring and managing the UK organisation structure. The requirement is to maintain strong personal involvement in all significant local selling and delivery opportunities.
 
WHO YOU ARE
 

Experience of complex IT services solutions selling and services delivery, using an approach that elevates customer experience.
  • Experience closing enterprise deals, with annual revenue achievements of (€£) 5 million +.
  • Success working in the digital services and digital solutions industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving year-over-year individual and team quotas.
  • Proven ability to attract, hire and retain A+ teams.
  • Proven ability to build, maintain and accurately forecast a sales pipeline.
  • Prior track record of managing and enhancing sales and delivery infrastructure processes to support growth.
  • Ability to travel (percentage)

  • Ability to provide leadership and motivation, by participating in collective decisions involving all aspects of the UK business.
  • Ability to plan and manage both at the strategic and operational level.
  • Thrive in a fast paced and agile work environment.
  • Must be willing and able to be hands on – the Managing Director will be integral to the sales process.
  • Ability and experience managing teams - on a national level.
  • A compelling communicator - able to convey needed senior presence with internal and external audiences, including EMEA Appnovation leadership team, clients and partners
