Reporting directly to EVP of Global Operations, this position will manage the entirety of our company’s computer and network operations. Our ideal candidate is service oriented and able to keep the company's critical computer systems operational, as well as capable of delivering a variety of IT projects in a professional, efficient and effective manner.
 
This position is hands-on, providing network, software and hardware support to our internal users in the main office as well as the other offices in North America and Europe. The impact of this role is not confined to day-to-day operations as we are also looking for an experienced individual to continue the growth of the full IT strategy. This strategy will be the base of our global growth, must be scalable and could lead to the development of a revenue generating division. Appnovation is looking for this individual to grow into a leadership role in this key division of Appnovation.
 
YOU WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO
  • Ensure all Servers hardware and software are fully operational and take corrective action where necessary
  • Administer Cloud Base Servers
  • Perform System Administration tasks including performance tuning, system optimization, disk space planning, print queue management, scripting and job scheduling
  • Monitor, identify, and resolve production capacity, contention, and resource deficiencies
  • Configure, monitor and maintain the Local and Wide Area Networks
  • Configure and maintain Security and Firewall rules; establish VPN connectivity for remote access
  • Networking monitoring and service
  • Perform hardware and software upgrades
  • Maintain and administer user profiles and security access
  • Purchase hardware, software, and services required for the provision of IT services
  • Document and improve current IT infrastructure, processes and procedures

  • Technically brilliant + client focused
  • You're self-motivated, organized and energetic
  • Expert problem solver with excellent analytical and communication skills and an aptitude and desire to work in a customer service capacity
  • Experienced with managing projects and global operations plans
  • Demonstrated success in installing, configuring, maintaining and supporting high growth environments.
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Familiar with remote desktop support, asset management and patch management tools
  • Experience with one or more diagramming tools and a variety of open source software (e.g., Visio)
  • Autonomous, dedicated, able to provide on-call 24*7 coverage when necessary
  • Hands on experience with at least one helpdesk software
  • Continually strives to improve I.T.’s customer service delivery
  • Eager to learn business priorities and criticality of day to day operations
