WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
 
Working with our Global Partner Management team and reporting to the Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will have your fingers on the pulse of our exciting partner channel. In this role, you will absorb knowledge about Appnovation and our partners’ industry-leading products and services. You’ll use that knowledge to jointly educate both Appnovation and our partners’ teams on each other’s offerings. Through collaboration with various departments at Appnovation, you’ll help drive the growth of our channel business. Your primary responsibilities will be to interface with the Sales, Marketing and Client Services teams to develop sales matching initiatives, account maps, team training materials etc. to help drive new business opportunities cooperatively with our partners.
 
First and foremost, you’re innately passionate about the web and technology in general. You’re a diligently proactive, self-motivated and detail-oriented individual that has the ambition to learn. You’re comfortable with applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, G Suite etc. and not afraid to put in the time required to drive real success and growth for our business.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
  • Implement and execute a sales matching program to help drive net new opportunities together with our partners.
  • Track and provide detailed reporting regarding channel performance based on our joint partner GTM plans.
  • Collaborate with Appnovation and Partner Marketing teams to create content and execute channel marketing activities (field events, blog posts, webinars, etc.).
  • Create, update, manage and deliver presentation material for internal training of Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams relating to the company’s partner product offerings as well as external education regarding Appnovation’s technology and service offerings. 
WHAT YOU HAVE
  • Currently completing a Business Undergraduate Program or Diploma.
  • Demonstrated sales/business development experience in a B2B or B2C setting.
  • Passionate for learning about interesting products and services based on leading enterprise technologies.
  • Self-motivated, extremely organized, outgoing, and energetic.
  • Attention to detail, with a proven history of delivering world class materials and presentations
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
BONUS POINTS
  • Experience with major CRMs (e.g. SugarCRM, NetSuite OneWorld, Salesforce.com), proficiency with G Suite, and exposure to marketing automation tools is an asset.
  • Experience and success in generating leads with solid understanding of marketing and solution selling is a plus.
  • Fluency in French

The Business Development & Marketing Co-op role is a part of Appnovation Technologies Co-op Program. This position is open to students who are registered in a Canadian University or College program, have completed a minimum of 1 year of their degree or diploma and are returning to full-time study upon the completion of their work term.
